DiverLog+ will not connect. Move the dives.

DiverLog+ is the paid third-party app most Aqualung and Oceanic divers were pointed at, and the complaint is nearly always the same: the connection to the computer stops working after an OS update, or the app has not kept up with a new model. The logbook inside it is still readable.

Move your dives, step by step

  1. Open DiverLog+ and select the dives you want to move.

  2. Export them as UDDF, which DiverLog+ supports.

  3. Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.

  4. In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.

  5. Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.

What survives the move

✅ Comes across

  • Every dive with its profile
  • Cylinders and gas
  • Site names and notes

⚠️ Does not

  • DiverLog+ layout preferences and its own report templates

Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.

Read your computer directly instead

If the software is the broken part, going straight to the hardware is often faster.

Questions

Will SeaLog connect to my computer where DiverLog+ failed?

If your model has Bluetooth, very likely, because SeaLog talks to it directly rather than through an adapter. Find your exact model on the sync pages to see which route applies before you download anything.

Your dives, on the phone that is already in your pocket

Free to download, offline first, and every dive exportable the day you decide to leave.
