Move a Diving Log logbook onto your phone

Diving Log is a deep, long-lived Windows logbook with an export for everything. Divers who have kept hundreds of dives in it want them somewhere they can show a buddy on a boat without opening a laptop.

Move your dives, step by step

Open Diving Log and select the dives you want to move.
Export them as UDDF.
Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.
In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.
Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.

Custom fields Diving Log lets you invent, which have no UDDF equivalent

Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.

Questions

I have over a thousand dives. Will that import?

Yes. Import the UDDF in one go and let it run. Large logbooks take a little longer to write, and duplicates are skipped rather than doubled if you import the same file twice.
