Leaving Dive Organizer behind
Dive Organizer is the Windows software the older Mares computers shipped with. It is the definition of legacy: it works on the machine it was installed on, and nowhere else.
Move your dives, step by step
Open Dive Organizer on the machine where it still runs.
Export your logbook to UDDF if your version offers it, and to CSV if it does not.
If neither export works, download the computer itself with Subsurface instead and export UDDF from there.
Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.
In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.
Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.
Older Mares units transfer over an infrared or USB interface. If the software is the part that is broken, going straight to the computer with Subsurface is usually faster than fixing it.
What survives the move

- Date, time, duration and maximum depth
- The depth profile, when the export carries samples

- Dive Organizer's own equipment and certification records
Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.
Read your computer directly instead
If the software is the broken part, going straight to the hardware is often faster.

My Mares computer is not listed in Dive Organizer any more.
Check the model page for your unit. If it has Bluetooth, SeaLog can read it directly and the desktop software stops mattering.
