What 5,900 reviews agree on
- Universal import is the most wanted feature in the category, and almost nobody ships it: every hardware brand app locks to its own computers, and the agency apps ask you to type.
- Losing dives is the unforgivable sin. The angriest reviews in every store, in every language, are about logbooks that vanished after an update, a sync failure or a phone change.
- Divers want to own their data. Apps without export are described as holding logbooks hostage; apps that charge for export get it worse.
- Offline matters more than in any other category.Boats, liveaboards and remote atolls are exactly where logbooks are used, and exactly where most of these apps stop working.
