From MacDive to a logbook in your pocket

MacDive has been the Mac diver's logbook for years and exports cleanly. The move is usually about wanting the logbook on the phone, with the photos from the dive already attached to the right dive.

Move your dives, step by step

Open MacDive and select the dives you want.
Export them as UDDF.
Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.
In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.
Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.

MacDive's custom report layouts

Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.

Questions

Can I keep using MacDive too?

Yes. UDDF goes both ways, so you can keep a desktop copy and still have the logbook on your phone.
