Bring your Shearwater Cloud logbook to your phone
Shearwater Cloud is one of the good ones: actively maintained, and it exports proper UDDF. Divers move because they want the logbook on their phone with photos, sites and species attached rather than on a desktop, not because anything is broken.
Move your dives, step by step
Open Shearwater Cloud on your desktop and let it finish syncing with your computer.
Select your dives and export them as UDDF.
Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.
In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.
Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.
What survives the move

- Every dive with its full sample-by-sample profile
- Water temperature, gas mixes and decompression data
- Site names as recorded in Shearwater Cloud
⚠️ Does not
- Shearwater Cloud's own annotations that have no UDDF equivalent
Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.
Read your computer directly instead
If the software is the broken part, going straight to the hardware is often faster.

Do I need Shearwater Cloud at all afterwards?
Not for logging. SeaLog downloads Shearwater computers over Bluetooth itself. Keep Cloud around for firmware updates, which are still its job.
