Take your Diveboard logbook with you
Diveboard was a web logbook with a real community around it. Anyone who kept dives there learned the lesson every cloud logbook eventually teaches: keep a copy of your own.
Move your dives, step by step
Sign in to Diveboard and open your logbook.
Export your dives as UDDF.
Move the exported file to your phone: AirDrop, iCloud Drive or email all work, anything that puts it in the iOS Files app.
In SeaLog, tap the plus button, then Import dives, then the matching format.
Pick the file. Every dive arrives with its depth profile, and anything already in your logbook is skipped rather than duplicated.
What survives the move

- Date, time, duration and maximum depth
- The depth profile, where the export carries samples
- Site names and coordinates
⚠️ Does not
- Diveboard's community layer
Whatever comes in can go back out: SeaLog exports the whole logbook to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. We would rather you could leave than have to trust us.
Questions
Why move at all if it still works?
Because a logbook you cannot export is not really yours. Even if you stay, take the UDDF and keep it somewhere safe.
