About Suunto app
The Suunto app only pairs with the newer Bluetooth models. Anything that needed DM5 or Movescount is orphaned: both were discontinued, and the dives are stuck on the old desktop install.

Suunto models that sync over Bluetooth

Suunto models that need a cable
An iPhone cannot open a serial or USB connection to a dive computer. These go through a Mac or PC once, then into SeaLog as a UDDF file.
