How to import dives from a Subgear dive computer
No Subgear model in the catalog has a radio, so every transfer goes through a cable and a file. Pick your exact model below for the steps that apply to it.
Subgear models that need a cable
An iPhone cannot open a serial or USB connection to a dive computer. These go through a Mac or PC once, then into SeaLog as a UDDF file.
Subgear downloads, drivers and manuals
Gone as a brand. SubGear was SCUBAPRO's value line and has been retired; subgear.com no longer serves a real page, and SCUBAPRO's own manuals and software sections contain no SubGear entry at all.

Worth knowing
- subgear.com no longer serves a real site. Requests are answered by a bot-protection block page, so there is nowhere SubGear-branded to send a diver.
- The XP series talks infrared, not USB. You need a USB IrDA dongle plus the Windows IrDA stack, and a modern laptop has neither by default. There is no Mac path at all.
- LogTRAK, SCUBAPRO's current app, is for the Galileo and Aladin line and will not talk to an XP.
- SmartTRAK is still hosted and still installs, but it is a legacy Windows application whose manual predates the SubGear brand entirely. Treat it as a Uwatec tool that happens to speak the same infrared protocol.
- Both scubapro.com and subgear.com sit behind aggressive bot protection, so automated link-checking against them returns misleading results. The PDF and CDN links above fetch cleanly.

SeaLog keeps every dive in one place whichever computer it came from, with the depth profile intact, and exports back out to UDDF whenever you want it.
