How to import dives from a Dive Rite dive computer
No Dive Rite model in the catalog has a radio, so every transfer goes through a cable and a file. Pick your exact model below for the steps that apply to it.
Dive Rite models that need a cable
An iPhone cannot open a serial or USB connection to a dive computer. These go through a Mac or PC once, then into SeaLog as a UDDF file.
Dive Rite downloads, drivers and manuals
Dive Rite is very much alive but out of the computer business: its Computers category page is empty, and the NiTek logbook software was never a free download and is no longer distributed.

Worth knowing
- Workbench was always a paid add-on rather than a download. Dive Rite's own manual tells you to email them to buy the logbook tier, and community reports say the company no longer has a copy to send.
- The Computers category on diverite.com renders as 'we can't find what you're looking for'. The NiTek line is out of the catalogue, even though the Q4 manual was re-uploaded in May 2025.
- There is no downloads or software area anywhere on the site. Manuals are only reachable as direct wp-content PDF links, which is why they are easy to miss.
- The older NiTek Duo and Trio used a different optional PC interface with NiTekLogic software; those drivers were reported as 32-bit only and are not hosted officially anywhere.
