How to import dives from a Citizen dive computer
No Citizen model in the catalog has a radio, so every transfer goes through a cable and a file. Pick your exact model below for the steps that apply to it.
Citizen models that need a cable
An iPhone cannot open a serial or USB connection to a dive computer. These go through a Mac or PC once, then into SeaLog as a UDDF file.
Citizen downloads, drivers and manuals
Citizen the watchmaker is very much alive, but the Aqualand dive-computer line is frozen in time: the download pages are still hosted and every file still serves, yet the newest software targets Windows Vista/7 and the USB driver is 32-bit only, so on any current PC or Mac the vendor path is effectively dead and libdivecomputer-based apps are the practical option.

Support
Worth knowing
- Every Citizen download link still resolves, which is unusual for hardware this old, but the software itself was last qualified for Windows Vista and Windows 7 and Citizen states outright that virtual machines and Boot Camp are unsupported.
- The HC-USB cable driver was never released for 64-bit Windows. That single gap is what strands most owners: you can install the 64-bit log application and still have no way to talk to the cable.
- There is no macOS software from Citizen at any point in the line's history.
- libdivecomputer and Subsurface support the Hyper Aqualand over a serial connection, so a USB-to-serial adapter plus Subsurface is the practical modern path; the Cyber Aqualand Nx is not in the libdivecomputer device table.
- Citizen's current Promaster dive watches are depth gauges rather than downloadable dive computers, so nothing in the present catalogue replaces the Aqualand data pipeline.
One logbook for all of it
SeaLog keeps every dive in one place whichever computer it came from, with the depth profile intact, and exports back out to UDDF whenever you want it.
