Atomic Aquatics models that need a cable
An iPhone cannot open a serial or USB connection to a dive computer. These go through a Mac or PC once, then into SeaLog as a UDDF file.
Atomic Aquatics downloads, drivers and manuals
The company is alive and still hosts every Cobalt file, but the dive computer itself is discontinued. The current catalogue is regulators, BCDs, masks and fins, with no computer in it.

Worth knowing
- There is no Mac logbook from Atomic. The two Mac downloads are firmware updaters for the original Cobalt only, so Mac and Linux owners are steered to third-party software.
- Unusually candid for a manufacturer: Atomic's own page names Subsurface, MacDive, Dive Log DT and Diving Log 6 as the dive-log options for the Cobalt.
- Firmware has stood still for years (1.62 for the original Cobalt, 2.5 for the Cobalt 2), which is consistent with a discontinued line.
- No driver install is needed anywhere in the process. The computer talks native USB, and in bootloader mode it simply mounts as a removable drive.
- Atomic's 'User Manuals' navigation link points at huishoutdoors.com, which blocks automated requests and returned 403 for me. The Cobalt 2 PDF hosted on atomicaquatics.com is the dependable copy.
- The original Cobalt was made 2010-2013 and the Cobalt 2 arrived in January 2014; nothing has replaced it in the range.
