How to import dives from a Aeris dive computer

Worth knowing

• Aeris no longer exists as a company. American Underwater Products merged it into Oceanic effective 1 September 2014, and Huish Outdoors bought Oceanic and Hollis in 2017. There is no Aeris website, no Aeris support desk and no Aeris warranty channel.
• aeris-diving.com does not even resolve in DNS any more, so every link to it found on forums, in old manuals and in the ACI software itself is permanently broken.
• Huish's own user-manual hub covers Atomic Aquatics, BARE, Hollis, Oceanic and Zeagle. There is no Aeris section. Every Aeris manual listed above is a leftover file in Oceanic's legacy media directory, not a maintained page, and could disappear without notice. Mirroring these PDFs is worth considering.
• The critical mapping for these 16 models: DiverLog for Mac is the only manufacturer software that ever supported Aeris, and it covers eleven of them. DiverLog for Windows supports zero Aeris models. DiverLog+ supports zero Aeris models. The older Aeris Computer Interface (ACI) for Windows, which shipped on a CD with the cable and covered Epic, Elite T3, Atmos Elite, Atmos ai, Atmos ai v2, Manta, CompuMask and the XR series, was only ever downloadable from the dead Aeris site and has no official mirror.
• DiverLog for Mac is effectively unobtainable now. Mac App Store IDs 555322971 (Full) and 540107482 (Lite) both 404, as do the old iOS and Android DiverLog listings and their Play Store package IDs. If a diver does not already have it installed, the official Mac route is closed too.
• Practical upshot: for the great majority of Aeris owners there is currently no working vendor path at all, on any operating system. The realistic options are third-party tools that speak the underlying Pelagic protocols (Subsurface, Diving Log, Dive Log Manager), plus the still-live FTDI drivers above for the cable itself.
• The drivers are the one part of the chain that is genuinely healthy. The cable is FTDI-based and ediverlog.com still ships a current DriverKit extension for macOS 10.14+ alongside signed Windows packages, so the hardware side works on modern machines even though the software side does not.
• Two Aeris manuals have addenda that materially change documented behaviour (Elite T3 and Epic). Both are separate PDFs and both are easy to miss if a diver only grabs the main manual.
• The A300CS is the single Aeris model that the retired DiverLog mobile app could read; every other model in our catalogue is cable-only, which matches the SERIAL transport already recorded for all 16.
